It gives you what you want, a gif, but it KILLS the quality of the photos you upload to the app.

This is a great app. I always use this app to convert gifs into video format but the only problem is that it doesnt save in a good definition. Its sort of blurrier than the original and the color somehow changes a bit. Please fix this. I really want to save the gifs in HD and with the original color. Thank you.

Doing anything on this app is like pulling teeth. With the constant freezing, crashing and pop up ads

Ads pop up and I have no way of closing them out even after the ad has ended. While trying to edit the video into a gif it freezes or the picture does not show up. Occasionally it becomes pixelated or green and fuzzy. Both my phone and my app are completely up to date. Ive sent emails about this before but every time they fix one problem another appears and its seriously getting old and really annoying.

Could be such a good app but the tech support is awful. Never any updates, extremely buggy, and I cant even log back in.

Whats going on?!? Why wont gifboom work for anyone? It says I have no followers, I cant see all my gifs, my page wont load and it says error?!? And for my friend who has gifboom says she cant even login it wont let her! Whats going on please dont say its another restart

It just says gateway error and wont let me access the app whatsoever. My internet is perfectly fine and I tried without Internet and it still didnt work. Fix this

Everything is great and all but if i log out and back in again, or just exit the app for awhile, the sound doesnt work anymore when I go back. I tried making a new account, but it still only worked the first time I used the app. Im not sure if theres a setting or something, but I cant seem to find it! HELP!

Its really sweet

there is no option to turn notifications on. I go to notifications center and gif boom isnt on there. can you please fix that. Id like to get notified when someone likes or comments on my gifs.

This app looks innocent but right when you get it all the top posts are like nudes and people are saying they hate their body theyre bullying theyre telling everyone stuff that should be kept to themselves. Young girls are making bad videos. Girl at my school Im not aloud to hang out with is posting in the shower and in her underwear and naked. I would not get this app! It has caused so many problems at my school. This girl has also got other people to do things like her. Teens are posting bad stuff. If your child has this app look at their account, talk to them, and make them delete it! This is a horrible app and who runs it needs to do something about it! This is ruining the lives of children. People with depression are on here posting about it and some are saying things about "killing" themselves. Other people at my school had this app but they immediately deleted it after a few weeks because all there was on there was bad posts. These people shouldnt be allowed to continue this. Im guessing mods have deleted some but they should be deleting accounts! There are so so so many bad ones. Do not get this app. Check your kids phones or siblings. DO NOT GET THIS!

Ive been using this app for almost a year now and it ok, but its not too active. But what this app really needs is Moderators!!! I was on right now and saw Gay porn gifs under recent and died a little on the inside. Please moderate this app, dont make people bleach their eyes from stuff like this. Thank you

Only reason I used this god awful app

I rarely write reviews for apps but I live this app I make my edits for Instagram here!! And its the best app ever!! I can download gifs for my videos and their amazing!!!

I make edits with this and they changed something with the app and i could only do video thats only 9 seconds please at least make it 15 seconds or 20. This app is not good anymore im disappointed

The most important thing is notifications, its not in Notification Center so no one can see when they get a like or a reboom or even a message. Its really annoying. Please fix this

When I first got this app it was back in high school. Everyone who used it made interesting gifs and such. After the reboot when I recreated my account, its complete trash. There are underage girls posting nude videos of themselves, people messaging me for nude videos, drug use, promotion of self harm and other undesirable things. There needs to be a code of conduct for this app to make it safe again. Also, why is sound allowed to be added to the videos? Its called "gifboom" not "videoboom". Adding sound took away the fun of making stop motion gifs and being creative essentially turning it into a knockoff Instagram. This app went down the rabbit hole and theres obviously a correlation between that and the dropping reviews. Please fix this.

Ads have done it in. I understand why free apps have ads. But when they make the app useless, NO ONE WINS... As soon as ap is opened, ad pops up, full (annoying) volume I might add, and there is NO WAY to get around it. Hahaha... Cant even see the NEXT AD. What a waste. Used to have a lot of fun with this. Gotta find another GIF generator.

clunky interface, deleted accounts for no reason, plenty of other better similar apps in the app store. 0 stars.
