I try to open this app and it goes right to an add for some meds. App then locks up and I never even get to Gifboom. Last time I used this app it would not work, every time I mad a gif Id just get a failure message.

Gif boom used to be a good app; but now it just isnt possible to use. You cant exit out of some adds that they insist on playing every three seconds.

This app is great. Ive made some pretty fun and neat GIFs with it. I will add, it freezes and has adds that are difficult to get out of... need to shut down and restart it... however, if you have patience for it, it eventually works wonderfully! Sounds silly, I know. But it really is worth the time.

I have been using this app since 2012. I stopped uploading gods of myself but I still use it to contact people. The app deleted my account due to "inactivity"

Gifboom was once a great app that was fun to use. Now, its literally impossible to access because of the incessant and inescapable advertisements that pop up. Im curios to know who the hell is running this app and whether theyre purposefully making it impossible to use for more than a second on purpose? Its not just me - everyone I know on this app is experiencing these CONSTANT pop up adds wth no exit button.

So was really helpful to me at one point but it stopped working ? And it keep saying request timed out so I refreshed it didnt work I deleted it tried to sign it didnt work then I tried to make a new account didnt work or more like it wouldnt let me in

Iv been using it for a long time and now I tried refreshing and all I got was the request timed out and it wont let me sign in.

I love this app but recently it hasnt been working and every time i try to refresh my feed it wont load. The last post I saw in my feed was from over 12 hours ago which i know is not the case because many of my friends who also have gifboom are dealing with the same problem that Ive been having with this app. So just fix the problems and make sure that it works properly.

I first downloaded this when I was in 8th grade, and let me tell you, I was in love. There were a lot of nice people on there at the time, a lot of funny kids my age posting AGE-APPROPRIATE gifs, and even a lot of my own friends started making one regardless of how new of an app it was. However, 4 years later, its changed. First off all, Ill start with the innocent stuff... What in the world is a gif if it has sound? I feel like the moment that they added sound to the gifs was the day that things started going downhill. Its basically all videos now. I feel like more people are basically posting videos on GIFboom, rather than silent gifs alone, how it should be. They should have kept it how it was from day one: traditional, classic, SILENT gifs. Now, onto the not so age-appropriate stuff... Long story short, PORN EVERYWHERE. When I came on here, I was what, 12-13 years old? Everything was perfect and age-appropriate. Today, though Im a little older, this still is not acceptable. There are tons of little kids whore going to be experimenting with which apps they like, and at some point, they will come across this one and see things that they should not be seeing on a website that used to be so great, entertaining, and age-appropriate. Why arent these getting taken care of? This was never how the app used to be. Another thing, THERE NEVER USED TO BE THIS MANY ADS. I cant even remember there being any ads at all 4 years ago! What an annoyance. Youve changed, GIFboom. Ads, pornography, and videos replacing the classic GIF. Im disappointed. It was nice while it lasted, - Disappointed former GifBoom user..

So I had to reinstall the app and all of my gallery gifs were GONE! How do I get them back?

I can never hear anything on this app. I make edits and I need to hear the audio.
